RSSV brings together home care services, guardianships, and two nursing homes in the Veveyse district. It works for quality, humane care adapted to the needs of the population, while adapting to current and future challenges in the health-social sector. Mission
Ensure the preparation of daily meals with care and creativity according to the seasonal offer, respecting hygiene rules and food safety instructions. Supervise the entire culinary production and ensure a quality food experience, contributing to the well-being of the residents. Main activities
- Prepare culinary dishes, respecting specific diets, food allergies, preferences, etc.
- Participate in the meal distribution chain
- Manage purchases, stock of goods, and relationships with suppliers (orders, delivery control, and storage)
- Apply hygiene and safety rules according to current directives and food legislation
- Supervise and organize the kitchen team’s work (commis, kitchen assistant, dishwasher)
- Prepare the budget for the service
- Federal Certificate of Capacity (CFC) as cook or recognized equivalent qualification
- Experience in a healthcare environment or collective catering is an asset
- Excellent mastery of food hygiene rules and food safety procedures
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays
- Organizational skills, rigor, and ability to manage priorities
- Ability to lead a team with kindness and efficiency
- Knowledge of computer tools
- Ability to prepare work schedules
- Ability to collaborate interdisciplinarily
- Good communication skills and ease working in a team
