Job Description
As part of a major programme to modernise its information system, our client is looking for a Technical Project Manager Infrastructure / DevOps. You will work within an IT Department responsible for critical applications and high-availability technical platforms. This position is aimed at a professional from infrastructure or DevOps backgrounds who has progressively moved towards managing technical projects. Your role will be to coordinate infrastructure projects, support technical teams in their developments, participate in architectural decisions, and contribute to platform modernisation as well as reducing technical debt. Your responsibilities In collaboration with architects, DevOps engineers, development teams, and infrastructure partners, your tasks will include: Managing technical projects related to infrastructures, DevOps platforms, and application runtime environments. Organising and coordinating all project phases: analysis, design, planning, implementation, testing, deployment, and production release. Ensuring coordination between Infrastructure, DevOps, Development, Architecture teams, and suppliers. Participating in technical architecture work and contributing to hosting and deployment platform strategies. Supporting infrastructure modernisation projects and leading actions to reduce technical debt and manage obsolescence. Supervising the evolution of OpenShift, Linux platforms, and continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Ensuring availability, performance, security, and resilience of technical infrastructures. Monitoring risks, dependencies, and project management indicators. Participating in defining best practices for DevOps, automation, and industrialisation. Contributing to business continuity plans, operational procedures, and technical documentation. Keeping up to date with technology to identify solutions that improve performance, security, and operational efficiency.
Profile sought
Higher education in computer science, information systems, or equivalent field. Minimum 5 years of experience in managing technical or infrastructure projects. Previous experience as Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer, DevOps, or Technical Architect. Strong experience with OpenShift or on-premise Kubernetes environments. Good command of Linux environments and their administration. Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent). Knowledge of automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet. Good understanding of infrastructure architectures, networks, security, and production environments. Ability to manage projects involving multiple technical teams and external partners. Experience in coordinating technical teams and suppliers. Excellent analytical, synthesis, and organisational skills. Very good command of French.
