For our Gastronomy department, we are looking for a
Head Chef 100% starting November 1, 2025
As a trained chef EFZ, you will daily delight the children, adolescents, and staff with fresh and seasonal dishes. Reporting directly to the department head, you will lead and develop our kitchen team.

- with a qualification as a chef EFZ, further training as a diet chef is an advantage
- who preferably already has work experience in social institutions
- who has leadership experience
- with the willingness to acquire missing expertise through further training
- who is team-oriented and resilient and brings a high degree of flexibility
- who appreciates and lives interdisciplinary collaboration
- who has a high social competence and a flair for working with children and adolescents. Ideally, you already have the training for vocational education
- who enjoys working independently, accurately, and reliably
Your tasks include
- responsibility for the organization, coordination, and control of the Gastronomy department
- active participation in the kitchen and taking on individual services
- seasonal planning of offerings for children, adolescents, and adults, including diets
- responsibility for the correct implementation of the hygiene concept in the specialist area
- further development and optimization of the Gastronomy department
- supporting adolescents during their kitchen assignments with the necessary patience, empathy, and understanding
- assisting in the training of EBA level apprentices
