Night Owl with Heart: SRK Night Care Assistant

The Etzel Retirement Centre – beautifully situated with views of Lake Zurich – is home to the residents of our 28 retirement apartments and 70 care places. We are looking for a committed, reliable person who enriches our nights with empathy and professionalism.

This is how you shape your nights

🌙 Nocturnal companionship: You care for and support our residents with great calm and empathy. 
👐 Active support: You assist with basic care, toilet visits, positioning and individual needs. 
🔦 Providing security: With your regular checks, you ensure maximum wellbeing and comfort. 
👁️ Watchful eye: You immediately recognise health changes and act appropriately and thoughtfully. 
🤝 Teamwork: You work hand in hand with the qualified nursing staff during the night shift. 
💻 Structured completion: You document your services carefully and ensure a smooth handover to the day shift. 
🧹 All-rounder qualities: You also take on smaller organisational and domestic tasks in the department.

What sets you apart

🎓 Solid foundation: You have successfully completed the SRK care assistant course (or a comparable qualification). 
🦉 True night owl: You consciously and gladly work in continuous night care and are willing to work on weekends and public holidays. 
🧘 Calm presence: You shine with high social competence and keep a cool head even in demanding situations. 
💪 Independence: You act responsibly, are absolutely reliable and like to pitch in. 
❤️ Passion: Caring for and supporting elderly people fills you with joy. 
🗣️ Communication & IT: You understand Swiss German, have good German skills and possess basic PC knowledge (for documentation).
