Then this newly created position is made for you. Within the Production division of SBB Cargo, we ensure safe and high-quality transport services for single wagonload traffic, full trains and combined traffic. In this role, you have the opportunity, together with your team leaders and collaborators, to ensure the best transport service every day at the sites entrusted to you for our customers. What you can move.

• As Production Manager - Transport, you will supervise and coach 4 to 7 team leaders as well as approximately 70 to 200 employees within one of the Western, Central or Eastern production regions. You act as a role model and are committed to the development of your teams.
• You will apply your extensive skills in leading your team leaders and teams and contribute through your work to organisational and cultural development in a highly demanding environment.
• As the person responsible for safety and compliance with quality and cost requirements of the teams, you ensure smooth operations and the execution of services ordered by customers.
• You support transformation projects, manage sub-projects and handle and take responsibility for specialised topics within the region, inter-regionally or across SBB Cargo.
• Depending on the organisation of the region concerned, you assume replacements for regional management or other functions in case of absence and support the region with your expertise in its strategic development.
• As Production Manager - Transport, you represent the interests of SBB Cargo and play an important interlocutor role with internal and external partners.

• You have several years of experience in logistics within a production company. Additionally, you have experience in development- and results-oriented leadership, as well as in project and/or process management, and organisational development.
• A university or HEP/HES (university of applied sciences) level education in leadership, management or business administration is required.
• For this position, a confident command of spoken and written German or French is required. Furthermore, you are - if not already - willing to learn another national language.
