Job Description
The Prevention and Solidarity Unit (PPS) of the Directorate of Integration and Solidarity (DIRIS), attached to the General Directorate of Social Cohesion (DGCS), is a dynamic and multidisciplinary unit active in home care schemes, support for informal carers, and combating violence.
To strengthen its expertise, the PPS is seeking a Project Manager to lead and coordinate the cantonal support programme for informal carers.

Responsibilities
Lead the cantonal support programme for informal carers and ensure the implementation of cantonal priorities aimed at strengthening support and recognition for informal carers.
Coordinate collaborations with relevant stakeholders, monitor strategic and parliamentary files.
Oversee delegated services for support to informal carers and the development of new projects, mandates or services.
Develop management and evaluation tools, and participate in needs analysis as well as the evolution of support services and measures.
Represent the Directorate within various specialised platforms and bodies, while monitoring legislative, scientific developments and innovative practices in the field.
Coordinate communication actions, the awareness campaign and promotion of cantonal support services for informal carers with all stakeholders at cantonal and intercantonal levels. Participate in or coordinate intercantonal communication actions annually and the Informal Carers' Day (JPA).
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent qualification, required.
- Training in public administration or equivalent qualification, preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in project management.
- Strong knowledge of issues and developments concerning informal care.
- Sense of responsibility and public service ethics.
- Organisational skills, time management, adaptability and flexibility.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Listening and communication skills.
- Good oral expression and spirit of mutual aid and collaboration.
