For our client, an established Swiss industrial company in the field of mechanical engineering, plant engineering and automated system solutions, we are looking for a structured, technically skilled and solution-oriented individual as Electrical Designer / Electrical Project Engineer Mechanical Engineering 80-100% in the Uster ZH area.
The company develops and realises high-quality machines and plants for demanding industrial applications. The focus is on well-thought-out engineering solutions, precise electrical design, modern automation systems and close collaboration between development, control cabinet construction, assembly and commissioning.
- Electrical design for machines, plants, controls and control cabinets
- Selection and definition of electrical components, sensors, actuators, drives and control elements
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, records and project data
- Technical clarifications with engineering, automation, purchasing, control cabinet construction, assembly and suppliers
- Support with tests, commissioning, fault analyses and technical optimisations
- Adaptation and further development of existing electrical designs
- Participation in standardisations, standards, safety requirements and internal improvements
- Ensuring clean, production-ready and standards-compliant documentation
- Support of project management with electrical engineering questions
- Experience in electrical design, electrical planning, automation or control cabinet construction is an advantage
- Knowledge of an electrical CAD system, ideally EPLAN
- Understanding of machine controls, electrical diagrams, standards and technical documentation
- Experience in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, special machine construction or industrial environment is an advantage
- Knowledge in control technology, sensor technology, drive technology or safety technology is a plus
- Precise, structured and independent working style
- Enjoyment of collaboration with engineering, automation, assembly and project management
- Good German skills in spoken and written form
- English skills are an advantage

Profile
