About the job
IT Specialist EFZ (80-100%) (m/f/d)
Zollikofen
Our in-house hardware and software solutions, developed and manufactured in Germany and Switzerland, enable precise people counting, optimize pedestrian flow, and ensure data protection. We are committed to the success of our customers and create a sense of security and comfort for people on the move. Our highly precise 3D stereo vision technology combined with AI forms the basis of our success. While Xovis consists of 200 employees worldwide and continues to grow, we have retained our start-up spirit.
We are looking for you to strengthen our international project team at Xovis. You start hands-on, quickly take on responsibility, and continuously develop with growing experience – without being thrown in at the deep end. In a small, dynamic team, you work on versatile customer projects and develop solutions that are used at airports worldwide. You can expect exciting infrastructures, technical diversity, and varied tasks: from data analysis to system setup to resolving technical questions in direct customer contact. You work closely with project managers, developers, and support – with short communication paths, direct communication, and a strong team spirit.
What awaits you:
- Working with 3D sensors
You test our 3D sensors, analyze live images, and ensure that the systems are correctly installed and accessible – always supported by experienced colleagues.
- Calibration of measurement systems
With our software, you define lines and zones so that people flows and waiting times are reliably recorded. You learn step by step how precise measurement systems are built and tested.
- Configuring software & making data visible
You help create dashboards and evaluations so that our customers can easily understand and use passenger numbers and waiting times.
- Collaboration in the project team
Together with project managers, you ensure that our technical solution is correctly implemented – from preparation to final system testing.
- Technical support
You assist with technical questions that go beyond first-level support and learn a lot about troubleshooting, system understanding, and customer solutions.
What you bring:
- Completed training in IT or technical field (e.g., IT Specialist EFZ, Automation Technician EFZ, Electronics Technician EFZ). Work experience is not required – curiosity, willingness to learn, and technical interest are important.
- Interest in technical systems, software, and networks
- Enjoy working precisely and understanding things
- Team spirit and openness to collaboration
- Motivation to learn new things and take on responsibility
- Basic English skills for international projects
What we offer you:
- Flexible working hours and home office options
- Regular team events such as ski weekends and after-work events
- A motivated, helpful team with an open corporate culture
- Individual solutions for further training
- 40-hour week
- At least 5 weeks of vacation plus free half-days during the holidays
- Modern and centrally located office directly next to Zollikofen train station as well as free parking
- The salary range for this position is between CHF 60,000-80,000
We look forward to your application.
