About the job
You want to not only maintain ICT systems but keep them running where it really counts? At Zurich Airport, you will work together with the ICT Electronic Operation team to ensure that safety-relevant communication, video, and information systems function reliably in an environment as dynamic as few others. As an Electronics Technician / ICT Systems Technician, you will look after, among other things, video and loudspeaker systems, radio, alarm and display systems, people flow and KVM total solutions, as well as clocks and RTV. Your focus will be on the ICT video surveillance system, a central platform for security, operation, and efficiency at the airport.
Your job destination

- You accompany new systems from setup and commissioning to acceptance and further develop existing systems with modifications and alterations
- You support the engineering team in projects, system expansions, and technical developments
- You ensure proper inventory and billing of our ICT services for internal and external customers
- You take operational responsibility for the video surveillance system as well as the people flow system
- About 8-10 weeks per year, you take on on-call duty and keep our systems available when it really matters
Your skills in your luggage
- A completed apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician EFZ or a comparable qualification, ideally supplemented by several years of experience in video surveillance
- Know-how in networking as well as software and hardware administration is a plus
- You work independently, solution-oriented, and keep an overview even when several systems require your attention simultaneously
- You take responsibility, think ahead, and enjoy direct exchange with internal and external customers
- For assignments on the airport premises, you have a category B driving licence and ideally live near the airport
- To carry out camera maintenance on the apron masts, you must not be afraid of heights
- You communicate very well in German and can also express yourself technically in English
