Service Owner & Service DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)
The department is responsible for the provision and further development of IT services within a service organisation according to ITIL 4 and SIAM principles. The focus is on the technical implementation, automation and stable operation of services as well as their holistic management throughout the entire lifecycle. The organisation works in service families and integrates internal as well as external providers for efficient and scalable service delivery.
Your tasks
Service Owner (including secondary roles Project & Provider Manager as well as Requirements Engineering)
Service DevOps Engineer (including 2nd level support role)
- End-to-end responsibility for services for digital communication (e.g. e-mail, chat, meetings) and digital collaboration (e.g. file storage, document editing, knowledge platforms, data/BI)
- Further development of services according to business needs (including capturing and prioritising requirements)
- Management and coordination of internal teams and external providers
- Monitoring of service quality (e.g. availability, stability, user satisfaction) and initiation of improvements
- Responsibility for service lifecycle, changes and releases
- Ensuring compliance with security, data protection and governance requirements
Service DevOps Engineer (including 2nd level support role)
- Technical operation and further development of platforms for communication (e.g. e-mail, chat, meetings) and collaboration (e.g. file storage, document editing, knowledge platforms, data/BI)
- Implementation of changes and new requirements
- Ensuring stability, availability and performance of services
- Analysis and resolution of complex incidents (2nd/3rd level)
- Automation of recurring operational and deployment processes
- Participation in tests, releases and handover to operations
- Documentation and knowledge transfer to support
Our requirements
- Experience in IT service management or in a service-oriented IT organisation as well as in the support and further development of IT services
- Understanding of solutions for digital communication and digital collaboration
- Experience in working with internal stakeholders and external providers
- Good skills in capturing, structuring and translating requirements into implementable service solutions
- Understanding of ITIL 4, ideally complemented by knowledge of SIAM
- Basic technical understanding in the areas of operations, incident management, changes and service optimisation
