Lead Planning & Operations 100% (m/f/d)

For our client, an established company in the field of production and value-added services, we are looking for a committed and experienced individual as Lead Planning & Operations (AVOR) (m/f/d) to start immediately or by arrangement.
You will take on a central role in production planning and order preparation, ensuring together with your team a customer-oriented, efficient, and timely processing of orders.

Job Description

• Leadership and organisation of the AVOR area with efficient use of resources
• Ensuring customer-oriented, high-quality, timely, and economical order processing including invoicing
• Responsibility for rough and detailed production planning
• Creation of weekly planning including production orders and goods disposition
• Active participation in daily business and the entire order preparation process
• Customer support and professional correspondence
• Maintenance of master data and processing of changes
• Participation in projects as well as creation and maintenance of internal process documentation
• Further development of the PPS system and optimisation of production planning and control processes
• Optimisation of inventory levels and reduction of tied-up capital
• Identifying and utilising synergies across various locations
• Function as key user for WMS and PPS in the areas of AVOR, planning, and production

We expect

• Completed commercial or logistics basic training (EFZ)
• Further training as a process specialist, operations technician, supply chain manager, or equivalent qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience in AVOR, production planning, or production
• At least 5 years of leadership experience
• Very good German skills at C2 level or native speaker
• Good English skills at least at B2 level
• Good user knowledge of MS Office
• Experience with PPS systems, ideally Abacus, as well as WMS knowledge advantageous
• Strong IT affinity
