<p>Abbott is a global healthcare leader, creating breakthrough science to improve people’s health. We’re always looking towards the future, anticipating changes in medical science and technology.  </p><p></p><p><b>Commercial Training Manager Austria & Switzerland (m/f/d)</b></p><p></p><p><span><span>This position is field based and works out </span></span><b><span><span>in the Diabetes Care division, </span></span></b> <span>where we are<span> </span></span><span>helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide<span> </span></span><span>accurate</span><span><span> </span>data to drive better-informed decisions.</span></p><p></p><p><b>The Opportunity</b></p><p><br />•    Development and implementation of the training strategy: Training of and/or development and organisation of trainings for the commercial organization in Austria and Switzerland on products, sales methodologies, treatment trends and studies in the therapeutic area of diabetology<br />•    Position reports to General Manager Austria & Switzerland, Strategic Partnerships DACH for Abbott Diabetes Care</p><p></p><p><b>Major Accountabilities</b><br />•    Responsible for the development and implementation of the training strategy of the Diabetes Care division within Austria and Switzerland<br />•    Alignment of the training strategy within the commercial leadership team as well as the EMEA training organization<br />•    Identification of training needs across the commercial organisation<br />•    Development of training curricula depending on training needs identified using state of the art adult training methodologies and systems<br />•    Organization of virtual as well as face to face trainings<br />•    Conducting training sessions, virtual as well as face to face, taking into account both knowledge levels and language capabilities  of trainees<br />•    Conducting regular knowledge checks including implementation of feedback loops on the trainings delivered</p><p><br /><b>Qualification:</b></p><p><br />•    Proven track record in adult education within a commercial organization<br />•    <b>Very good language skills in German, French and English</b><br />•    University degree or comparable executive training in adult education and/or coaching</p><p>•    At least <b>5 years of relevant professional experience in the pharmaceutical / medical technology industry</b><br />•    Capabilities and experience in using state of the art training tools<br />•    Strong communication and negotiation skills combined with cross-functional teamwork</p><p>•    Relevant professional background in adult education and/or coaching</p><p>•    Experience in working with Allego is a plus<br />•    Proven track record in using state of the art training methods (including but not limited to webinars, podcasts, video on demand, virtual quizzes, etc)</p><p>•    Ability to travel flexibly mostly <b>within Europe for at least 30% of time</b></p><p></p><div><p><span><span>Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that<span> </span></span><span>can help you<span> </span></span><span>build your future</span><span><span> </span>and live your best life</span><span>.
