The Hospital Network AR
The Hospital Network Appenzell Ausserrhoden, with the acute hospital Herisau and the Psychiatric Centre AR in Herisau, ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.
We are looking for
In the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy under the direction of Dr Mirjana Vidakovic, Jan Acklin is seeking a social worker / social worker FH for the in-house social service.
Your tasks
- Social counselling for inpatient and outpatient patients on a wide range of topics, such as work and employment, housing situation, social insurance, finances and adult protection
- Close cooperation within the interdisciplinary treatment team of doctors, psychologists and the nursing team
- Electronic progress documentation including performance recording
- Contributing expertise to reports, interdisciplinary meetings, team meetings and intervisions
Your profile
- You have successfully completed a Bachelor of Science in Social Work
- 4–5 years of professional experience in a similar setting is desirable
- Fluent German skills in spoken and written form
- Theory-oriented and appreciative basic attitude
