The University Psychiatric Clinics (UPK) Basel are one of the leading psychiatric clinics in Switzerland. Our goal is the continuous improvement of the treatment of our patients to achieve their best possible quality of life.
In the Clinic for Children and Adolescents (UPKKJ), we offer a very wide range of outpatient services in addition to inpatient care. Our services cover the entire spectrum of child and adolescent psychiatric disorders and range from general to specialised consultations as well as the specialist centres for Autism and Family Law.
At the FIAS Therapy Centre of the UPKKJ in Muttenz, toddlers aged approximately 2 - 4 years with early childhood autism are admitted. The two-year treatment includes an introductory phase, a two-week part-time inpatient development phase (5 days/week), in which the entire core family participates, and a subsequent deepening phase in the home environment.
