Head of Geriatrics Department, Registered Nurse (80 - 100%)

Responsibilities

• You will lead the department organisationally and administratively, implementing the mission statement and ethical guidelines
• You will also take on goal-oriented staff management and create personnel deployment planning in PEP
• Contact and cross-departmental collaboration with doctors, relatives, and internal specialist departments are also important tasks
• Additionally, you will conduct reports, team meetings, medical rounds, and site meetings with relatives and legal guardians
• You are responsible for medication orders and distribution as well as maintaining nursing documentation in the system
• Participation in the "department heads" committee as well as in projects and concepts completes your range of duties
• The workload can be between 80 and 100%, depending on your preference

Requirements

• You have completed training as a registered nurse HF / DNII or equivalent
• You possess leadership training and experience in a similar position in long-term care and in "integrative validation" and "basal stimulation"
• Your German language skills, both spoken and written, are good, and knowledge of CareCoach, RAI, and PEP is an advantage
