About the job
Employee: Master’s Program and Business Development 70 - 80 %
You ensure that an international master’s program runs smoothly – structured, reliable, and with a sense for people. In this role, you combine administration, coordination, and service into a strong foundation for teaching and collaboration.
Department: Life Sciences and Facility Management
Start date: Immediately or by arrangement
- You coordinate and are responsible for the central administrative processes of an English-language master’s program – from admission through module planning to module registration – and ensure their timely and correct implementation.
- As the central contact person, you provide service-oriented support to students, lecturers, and internal interfaces and take on first-level support for administrative concerns.
- You reliably support the program management in daily operations, coordinate meetings, document decisions, and follow up on agreed measures.
- You create, maintain, and improve process documentation as well as planning tools (e.g., annual, room, and schedule planning) and thus contribute to the continuous development of processes.
- You independently handle defined task packages, make decisions within your area of responsibility, and bring structure to parallel demands.
- Depending on need and interest, you support administrative activities in teaching at the bachelor’s, master’s, or summer school level.
Additional tasks
- You provide administrative support for projects in business development and participate in cross-team initiatives.
- You actively contribute your own ideas for the further development of collaboration and processes to the team.
- You have a bachelor’s degree (e.g., business administration or comparable) or a vocational training with relevant further education or corresponding professional experience and bring a solid understanding of administrative processes – ideally in a higher education context.
- You work very structured, precise, and carefully, keep an overview even with several parallel tasks, and organize your work independently.
- You enjoy working with different stakeholders and in a team; you communicate service-oriented, clearly, and respectfully.
- You feel confident in professional everyday life in English and are willing to communicate and work in English daily.
- You use MS Office proficiently and naturally use digital work tools.
Nice-to-have
- Experience in coordinating study programs, educational offerings, or complex administrative processes.
- Interest in process optimization and enjoyment in further developing existing structures.
