YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Conversion of engineering bills of materials into assembly- and production-appropriate bills of materials
- Ensuring data quality and continuous maintenance of production-relevant master and planning data
- Creation, maintenance and updating of assembly processes, work plans and production orders
- Ensuring the timeliness and quality of production planning in close coordination with the production manager
- Control, monitoring and coordination of technical changes along the change process, especially for engineering changes and obsolescence issues
- Active participation in shopfloor management as well as identification and implementation of improvement measures to optimise production processes
- Responsibility and support of the interfaces between engineering, work preparation, production, purchasing and logistics
- Responsibility for the further development and optimisation of work preparation taking into account efficient processes and standards
- Support of production in analysing and resolving material shortages as well as in missing parts management
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Several years of professional experience in work preparation, ideally in electrical engineering, signalling technology or the rail vehicle industry
- Further training as a process specialist (HF) or similar qualification
- Sound knowledge in converting engineering bills of materials into production and assembly bills of materials
- Very good user knowledge of PLM and ERP systems, preferably Teamcenter and SAP S/4 HANA
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA – PP/PEO
- Strong end-to-end process understanding along the value chain in work preparation and production
- Analytical and conceptual thinking skills as well as a structured, precise and solution-oriented working style
- High initiative and a pronounced hands-on mentality with a strong implementation focus
- Confident and target group-appropriate communication skills as well as the ability to convey complex matters clearly and factually
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland
