• Independent development of car bodies for the entire Stadler Rail Group
• Design and development of innovative concepts, components, and welded assemblies considering technical and economic aspects
• Interdisciplinary coordination with the departments of development, calculation, production, and purchasing
• Creation and preparation of manufacturing documents and technical specifications
• Construction supervision during production start as the responsible specialist in the specific project

• Completed technical education at university level with a focus on mechanical engineering
• Several years of professional experience in design and development, preferably in vehicle or mechanical engineering
• Experience with aluminum welded constructions and extruded profiles is an advantage
• Independent, goal-oriented, and structured way of working
• Flexibility, resilience, openness, enjoyment in dealing with people
• Solid knowledge of Catia V5/V6 or a comparable current 3D-CAD system
• English skills (level B2) spoken and written
