The cantonal police, with its approximately 4000 employees, takes responsibility for safety in the canton. For internal driver training, we are looking to strengthen our team with a reliable and committed individual as:
Driving Instructor (limited to 2 years) 50 - 60%
Tasks
- You provide theoretical and practical driving lessons until the corresponding driving license category is obtained.
- You organize, lead, and evaluate driver training and further education regarding the use and handling of service vehicles.
- You conduct training sequences as part of the basic police training for motorcycle, passenger car, truck, and bus categories, as well as trailers if needed. Additionally, you contribute to the design and implementation of further training events for all vehicle categories according to current needs.
- You create, maintain, and update training documentation, including digital teaching and learning materials.
Profile
- Possession of driving license categories A, B, C mandatory (Cat. CE and D desirable)
- Driving instructor license for passenger cars and motorcycles (FAK code 201/204) mandatory, truck/bus (FAK code 202) desirable
- You are willing to work increased hours (up to 100%) for several weeks at a time and then return to a reduced workload. Deployment planning is done long-term and allows reliable scheduling.
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable role
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools
- Independent, reliable, and precise working style
- Enjoyment in working with people and imparting knowledge
- Strong and contemporary methodological and didactic skills
- Confident German language skills, both spoken and written
- Impeccable manners
- Unblemished reputation
