Our client is an internationally active industrial company and one of the leading providers in the field of automatic door and gate systems. With innovative solutions, many years of experience, and a nationwide service network in Switzerland, the company serves customers from industry, commerce, healthcare, and public institutions. Currently, to complete the motivated team, a service technician is sought in the Bern region. You can expect a varied field service role with a great deal of personal responsibility.

Your tasks with the new employer:

• Independent planning and execution of maintenance and service assignments at customers’ premises
• Carrying out repairs as well as analysing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults
• Ensuring the operational readiness of automatic door and gate systems
• Supporting the installation and commissioning of new systems
• Instructing customers in the safe use of the installed systems
• Documenting completed work and close cooperation with the internal service team
• Taking on on-call duties after appropriate training

You offer your new employer:

• Completed basic technical training in electrical engineering, mechanics, mechatronics, or a comparable field
• Ideally experience in servicing door, gate, or access systems
• Alternatively, solid knowledge in mechanics and electrics and enthusiasm for learning about door and gate technology
• Independent, reliable, and customer-oriented working style
• Enjoyment of direct customer contact and a varied field service role
• Residence ideally in the Bernese Oberland (Thun or Interlaken region)
• Category B driving licence
