About the job

• You are primarily available as a roving nurse as well as to support intensive care for patients in psychiatric emergency situations.
• You mainly take late shifts (17:00 - 02:30) on the admission emergency wards 1 and 2, admission emergency ward 60+, as well as forensics.
• After starting your shift, you provide comprehensive information about the patient situation.
• Your expertise ensures additional safety at night, on weekends and public holidays, strengthens the nursing teams and enables flexible responses to acute crisis situations in acute psychiatry and forensics.
• You support the night nurses and the on-call doctor in emergencies, exceptional workloads, and difficult and complex admission situations as needed.
• Important patient-related circumstances and events are thoroughly documented by you.

• You have completed training as a nursing specialist HF/FH (SRK recognition or positive SRK PreCheck for foreign diplomas required).
• Preferably, you already have professional experience in psychiatry.
• You have completed a basic course in aggression management or are willing to complete one.
• You are flexible and resilient and accustomed to an independent, responsible way of working.
• You maintain an open, communicative approach with patients and team members.
• You are characterised by high commitment, creativity and very good German skills (at least C1).
