About the job
- You are primarily available as a roving nurse as well as to support intensive care for patients in psychiatric emergency situations.
- You mainly take late shifts (17:00 - 02:30) on the admission emergency wards 1 and 2, admission emergency ward 60+, as well as forensics.
- After starting your shift, you provide comprehensive information about the patient situation.
- Your expertise ensures additional safety at night, on weekends and public holidays, strengthens the nursing teams and enables flexible responses to acute crisis situations in acute psychiatry and forensics.
- You support the night nurses and the on-call doctor in emergencies, exceptional workloads, and difficult and complex admission situations as needed.
- Important patient-related circumstances and events are thoroughly documented by you.
- You have completed training as a nursing specialist HF/FH (SRK recognition or positive SRK PreCheck for foreign diplomas required).
- Preferably, you already have professional experience in psychiatry.
- You have completed a basic course in aggression management or are willing to complete one.
- You are flexible and resilient and accustomed to an independent, responsible way of working.
- You maintain an open, communicative approach with patients and team members.
- You are characterised by high commitment, creativity and very good German skills (at least C1).

First Day at Work
On the first day, you will be onboarded in your new team and with other colleagues. You will set up your new workplace and get an overview of your upcoming tasks. You will also receive your individual induction plan, which will help you to find your way around quickly.
