The Office for National Road Operations is responsible, on behalf of the Federal Roads Office (ASTRA), for the operational and structural maintenance on the A2 from Airolo to Beckenried, on the A4 from Flüelen to Küssnacht, and on the Gotthard Pass road.
We are looking for a new head for the Office for National Road Operations.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the strategic and personnel organization and further development of the office as well as creating a positive work environment
- Personnel management of employees and department management
- Ensuring an economical operation and maintenance of all facilities
- Responsible for financial planning, the budget process, and multi-year planning
- Participation in strategically important projects of the Federal Roads Office
- Management of strategically important projects of the office
- Representation of the office internally and externally
Expectations
- Civil or electrical engineer
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in road or facility maintenance companies
- Interest in political processes and knowledge of effective collaboration between cantonal and federal authorities
- Strong digital skills and ability to introduce new tools in the office
- Language skills in Italian and English desired
- Willingness to promote and support learning throughout the organization and in one's own area of responsibility
- Ability to create the framework conditions for successful implementation processes as a leader
