For a renowned women’s clinic in the Basel area, we are seeking a senior consultant in gynaecology and obstetrics. The clinic is one of the established centres in the region and offers a broad gynaecological and obstetric service spectrum with around 1,800 births and 2,200 gynaecological procedures per year.

You will work in an experienced team with extensive professional knowledge and benefit from a structured induction as well as collegial exchange in daily clinical practice. This position offers excellent development opportunities, especially for specialists taking on their first senior consultant role or planning to move from Germany to Switzerland.

Your responsibilities:

• Independent care of gynaecological and obstetric patients
• Conducting consultations and specialised clinics
• Surgical activity across the entire standard gynaecological spectrum according to your level of experience
• Management of births including care of high-risk pregnancies
• Supervision and training of assistant doctors
• Participation in the continuous development of the clinic

Your qualifications:

• Specialist title in gynaecology and obstetrics or advanced specialist training
• MEBEKO recognition or willingness to apply for it
• Enjoyment of surgical work as well as obstetrics
• Team-oriented and committed personality
• German language skills at least at C1 level
