Design Architect with a focus on sustainability 80-100%

In this newly aligned role, you will actively contribute your expertise in sustainable planning to our projects from the very beginning. At the same time, you will become part of our nationwide IB sustainability community and contribute to the implementation of our strategy for sustainable development 2030.
Your area of responsibility:
- Integration of sustainability aspects into the architectural design process – e.g. through material selection, energy and resource concepts, and life cycle analyses
- Collaboration in interdisciplinary project teams of the design and planning department
Conducting audits for LCA assessments and the Swiss labeling for carbon and grey energy
- Active participation and further development of our company-wide sustainability strategy 2030
- Building and maintaining partnerships with external experts, universities, and associations in the field of sustainable architecture and construction
- Data collection, preparation, and quality assurance for internal sustainability certifications and processes in collaboration with our AI community
- Representation of the company at professional events, trade fairs, and lectures in the context of sustainable architecture
What we expect from you:
- Completed master's degree in architecture, CAS or MAS in sustainable construction is an advantage
- At least 5 years of professional experience in architectural design, ideally with a focus on sustainable planning
- In-depth knowledge of current sustainability topics, materials, and standards (e.g. life cycle thinking, CO₂ accounting, circular economy)
- User knowledge of software for Swiss labels for calculating carbon and grey energy (Lesosai, greenBIM, Thermo Enerweb 380/1 ECO)
- Experienced handling of the SIA methodology (2032/2040) and CAD software (Rhino/Revit)
- Good knowledge in the field of data management and building simulation
- Experience or interest in strategic work, interdisciplinary collaboration, and research & development
- Independent, structured working style and enjoyment in developing new areas
- Start-up mindset: pioneering spirit, initiative, and eagerness to shape
- Strong communication skills and confident appearance
- Very good German skills, good French and/or English skills
