About the job
The Pharmacovigilance unit records and assesses adverse drug reactions (ADRs) from Switzerland, identifies new drug risks, takes necessary measures when required, and participates in communication. The unit responds to external enquiries regarding pharmacovigilance, publishes on current topics of drug safety, and participates in conducting pharmacovigilance inspections at companies. You will comprehensively lead the unit, manage the necessary resources, and implement overarching guidelines. You will ensure the required internal networking and collaboration with other organisational units and professionally represent your unit externally.
After successfully completing your medical or pharmaceutical studies, you have preferably expanded your clinical experience in an internal medicine discipline or further developed your clinical knowledge in the pharmaceutical industry (preferably in the field of drug safety/risk management). Knowledge of drug regulation in Switzerland is an advantage. You have several years of leadership experience, communicate clearly and appropriately for the audience (German, French/Italian, English), and can assert yourself confidently even in delicate situations. As an initiative-taking and resilient personality, you enjoy working interdisciplinarily and are characterised by a conscientious, responsible, and efficient working style.
