GAIN is a Swiss-based foundation launched at the UN in 2002 to tackle the human suffering caused by malnutrition. Working with both governments and businesses, we aim to transform food systems so that they deliver more nutritious food for all people. In particular, we aim to make healthier food choices more desirable, more available, and more affordable. GAIN’s mission is to advance nutrition outcomes by improving consumption of nutritious and safe food for all people, especially those most vulnerable to malnutrition.
The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is searching for an experienced HR professional to join the team in Geneva on an interim basis. This is a fixed term maternity cover contract, anticipated to last a minimum of 8 months.
The Senior HR Associate will be responsible for the HR Administration function of GAIN for our 200+ growing staff globally. This role will focus on areas including enforcement of HR functional policies and procedures and ensuring the successful delivery of corporate obligations such as payroll and employee contract management.
Specific responsibilities include;
Candidates for this position should have strong generalist HR experience, preferably within an multicultural and international organisation. They should have a solid understanding of the Swiss social security system and labour laws and be highly proficient in HR related applications as well as MS Office Suite.
