Description

  • Responsible to define technological solutions to answer short- and long- term needs of the business for data management applications
  • Work with the data analysis team and the business stakeholders to understand their needs and draft possible solutions
  • Supervise and coordinate external resources on-site or offshore to ensure solutions are implemented as per the recommended design and general IT best practices
  • Perform reviews of projects under implementation for their architecture, Security, in compliance with Enterprise Architecture principles and code quality
  • Coordinate with other IT teams to develop database architectures, coding standards, and quality assurance policies and procedures
  • Responsible for maintaining the technical architecture documentation and change processes for the corporate repositories: Corporate Datawarehouse, Data Hub, Data Lake
  • Plan and coordinate the execution of needed proof of concept to assess new technologies and/or new architectures
  • Also document the data flows and drive presentation to stakeholders
  • Design and implement redundant systems, policies, and procedures for disaster recovery and data archiving to ensure effective availability, protection, and integrity of data assets
  • Contribute to streamlining the delivery of new projects through process optimizations, automation and by applying DevOps with GIT/BitBucket, Jira, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools
  • Ensure adoption of change management practices conform to organization-wide standards

Profile

  • Fluent in Eglish is necessary
  • University Degree in information systems management, computer, engineering, or a related field or an equivalent combination of qualification and relevant work experience
  • Strong understanding of Data Analytics platforms and ETL in the context of large data sets
  • Experience/exposure to Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Catalog, Data Security, MDM, Data Virtualization, Data Sharing, Data Masking
  • Experience in drafting data flow, architecture, and design diagrams to present current and future solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
