Job description

In order to reinforce the PR team at its Headquarters in Bienne, Switzerland, SWATCH is currently searching for a

INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER (F/M/D) 100%

  • Handle international PR Managers requests (media requests, interviews, press material)
  • Support the Head of PR in creation of PR and Partnership plan including strategy, goals and budget
  • Develop guidelines for the PR Managers in the different markets based on overall PR & Marketing Strategy
  • Maintain ongoing, open dialogue with local PR managers
  • Handle PR archive, press stock and inbox (material inventory, requests assignment for the markets and answer sponsoring & partnership requests)
  • Coordinate all PR project budgets from start to finish (open project sheets, vendor forms, order requests, handle invoices, contracts and NDA's)
  • Create weekly internal PR projects statuses and PR retro planning
  • Create overview documents (Introduction for new PR Managers, Presentation of the dpt., etc.)
  • Drive the development and creation of communication support materials (press kits, photos and video material) and has overview of all PR topics
  • Coordinate PR related translations (press releases, other corporate documentation)
  • Coordinate with Advertising to ensure on time delivery of PR assets for each launch (press pictures).
  • Create Press Release layouts (briefing of external agencies) and proof readings with PR Managers
  • Press section update (coordination with E-commerce/ Digital team to upload content for each launch)
  • Create and analyse weekly/ monthly / yearly clippings reports and gather countries monthly clippings reports & coordinate with media monitoring agency (request reports for dedicated topics and handle the contract)
  • Support with international PR, Sports and Corporate events (concepts, organisation, hospitality programs, media invitation, media visas, PR giveaways)

Profile

The focus of this position is the management of the assigned PR projects autonomously with excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail. A strong team player with excellent stress resistance skills, you are able to multitask and are a proactive communicator. Flexible, you are ready to work on weekends (for events and preparation) ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep tight deadlines, as well as a strong attention to detail.

Professional requirements

  • Public relations, Marketing or any related degree
  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Team player with good communication and negotiation skills
  • Capable of working in a fast moving & changing environment

Languages

In addition, you are bilingual German/English or French/English, every additional language is a plus.
