Compensation Specialist

Job Description


In the Compensation Specialist position you will join the Group C&B team in their daily business and with new projects. A key element of the role will be to drive process automation of the C&B function to streamline our reporting processes with our Global HR IT tool - Oracle Fusion. In addition, you will be expected to act as an advisor to our internal HR stakeholders, incl. HRBPs and HR Operations across the broad aspects of the C&B offering, whilst also being a partner with the Finance and Planning & Controlling teams in exercising our control mandate. You will be joining a small team, responsible for the whole C&B offering, you need to be willing to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. 


 


Main responsibilities



  • Automation of C&B processes leveraging Oracle Fusion

  • Partner with the Finance function to ensure all controls relating to C&B globally are correctly designed and implemented 

  • Support C&B team in annual compensation process (global co-ordination, data checks and analysis)

  • Technical support for the C&B projects and ad-hoc requests

  • Support HR organization in the usage of compensation benchmarking data.

  • Prepare documents for annual RSU/share plan roll-out

  • In charge of keeping up to date the C&B databases

  • Provide technical expertise for job matching process

  • Preparation of documents for the Annual Report and Remuneration & Nomination Committee (memos, presentations in PDF/PPT)

  • Prepare reports in compliance with auditors/regulators as requested

  • Play an active part in the Group C&B team of 4 employee.


 


Skills and experience



  • Minimum 5 years experience in Compensation & Benefits and/ or Finance

  • Experience in the financial services industry required (preferrably the private banking industry)

  • A proven track record in process automation

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion required

  • A good understanding of the process for the replacement of deferred compensation incl. the appropriate  control framework

  • Job matching experience and the use of market benchmarking is important.

  • Employee equity incentive scheme administration/redesign know-how welcome

  • At ease in an international working environment

  • Excellent Excel Skills, solid skills in other usual Office IT applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Total Rewards experience – preferred

  • HR system and HR process savvy

  • BBA or Bachelor in Economics, Finance or Social Science (Master welcome)

  • Professional English language skills (verbal and written), Fluent in French/German 

  • Proactive, can-do attitude and highly motivated

  • Used to dealing with sensitive confidential data and information
