Job Description: OEM Account Manager

As an OEM Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in selling Rockwell Automation's cutting-edge products and services to existing named accounts within your designated geographic territory. Your mission is to not only meet but exceed annual sales targets by capitalizing on business opportunities and fostering strong relationships with our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective account plans for assigned accounts.
  • Lead and coordinate Rockwell Automation resources to deliver optimal solutions to customers.
  • Drive the execution of the sales process, from identifying opportunities to negotiating and closing orders.
  • Collaborate with various sales teams to enhance market penetration and ensure comprehensive sales coverage.
  • Effectively handle objections, manage a pipeline of opportunities, and negotiate profitable deals.
  • Consult with cross-functional teams on pricing, product specifications, warranties, and adaptations to meet customer needs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technology-based sales, preferably in the OEM/machine builder business.
  • Proven ability in relevant competencies and a track record of achieving results.
  • Capability to acquire new business within existing and new customer accounts.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering/technical related field or equivalent.
  • Language proficiency: Native German, plus fluent English. Knowledge of French/Italian is appreciated.
