Regulatory Reporting Officer (Risk) - AM/DM

JOB DETAILS / ROLE PURPOSE:

The person would be responsible for a variety of tasks including some or all of the following: Provide support on Solvency II Regulatory Reporting.

This person will be responsible for ensuring that high quality, consistent and streamlined regulatory reporting is implemented for Allianz Partners and subsidiaries. This role will involve working with senior colleagues across all departments. The role does not involve writing of reports but is more so focused on the co-ordination and delivery of reports. The person would report to Manager in Financial Shared Services (FSS) and take direction from a Manager in Global office. This is a global role so the candidate would be supporting the Americas, APAC and Europe regions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the successful completion of all annual & quarterly Solvency II regulatory reporting (i.e. - RSR, SFCR, QRTs and ORSA) for Allianz Partners Subgroup and solo legal entities.
  • Establish granular auditable processes for all reporting.
  • Formalize the reporting process with clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Effectively collaborate with relevant functions to foster a team approach.
  • Narrative Reports (RSR/ SFCR/ ORSA), ensure processes and procedures are followed, including:
  • Planning (Meetings arranged, Intranet website maintained, SharePoint set up,reviews planned etc.).
  • Production (regular check-ins with content input teams, review inputs for completeness, consistency reviews of financial information across all reports, comments processed, formatting/ finalization of reports etc.).
  • Sign-off (Arranging CFO / FD reviews, processing of final executive comments, executive summaries, submission, publication etc.).
  • Quantitative Reporting Templates (QRTs), ensure processes and procedures followed, including:
  • Co-ordination and delivery of Quarterly and Annual QRTs across AzP input teams (Accounting, Risk, Actuarial, Reinsurance).
  • Ensuring teams are aware of roles and responsibilities as well as ensuring validations cleared on all QRTs and file is ready for sign-off/ regulatory submissions.
  • Support the preparation of the relevant papers to the AzP Risk Committee and Board of Directors of all entities.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
  • PROFILE KEY REQUIREMENTS:
  • B.Com/ M.Com/ MBA/ CA or CS (Qualified/Inter) with experience ideally in an international environment or equivalent combination of work and education experience.
  • At least 4 years of professional qualification and experience (i.e. Accounting, Risk, Compliance), with audit/professional services background preferred along with Project Management & Organizational Management.
  • Solvency II/ Basel II experience is preferable but not essential.
  • Ability to undertake initiative and deliver quality results often with competing deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously yet still displaying strong team work ethics and attributes.
  • Strong analytical, process management, structural thinking and implementation skills.
  • Thorough understanding of business and financial implications of technical analysis.
  • Strategic thinking and tactical problem solving; frame issues and create effective plans for execution.
  • Strong professional presence, excellent interpersonal skills with ability to manage relationships both internal and external.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, high attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet set deadlines.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, MO365, Word and PowerPoint.
  • This is a global role so the candidate would be supporting the AzP regions (Americas, APAC and Europe), so dealing with time zones will need to be managed.
  • Everything will be done in English so a high level of verbal and written communication in English is mandatory.
  • Additional Language (Not Mandatory): French, German or any other foreign language.
