System and Software Test Engineer

We're currently searching for a System and Software Test Engineer to join us.

Main tasks include:

• Analyze requirements of software applications.

• Define test procedures and assessment criteria.

• Create test plans, estimate test times and supervise running tests.

• Prepare reports and document test results and coverage.

• Develop and maintain test tools and software.

• Supervise software release process.

• Tests et Validation.

• Service and support product.

Mandatory qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical university education.

• Practical experience in bench test realisation (Hardware / Software).

• Experience in the field of power converters.

• Technical competencies and at least 1 year's experience in test practices, commissioning, electronics (analogue and digital), and software.

• Fluency in English.

Good to have skills:

• Practical experience of LabVIEW (Core 2 or Core 3).

• Knowledge and experience with MatLab / C.

• Experience with SQL databases.

• Knowledge of TinyCAD, FreeCAD and/or KiCAD.

• Knowledge and experience with lifecycle tool (Forge), like GitLab.

• Knowledge of version control software (Git/SVN).

• Problem-solving competent, methodical and pragmatic.

• Team worker with excellent communication skills.

• Deep knowledge in manufacturing test methods and equipment.

• Basic knowledge and experience in definition and control of manufacturing processes.

• Type test qualification:

- Test plan writing according to product standard.

- Strong knowledge in EMC, climatic and mechanical tests.

- Follow-up of the subcontracted test laboratory.
