About the position

As a Customer Success Manager (CSM), you will be responsible to develop strategic relationships for all key defined groups of HealthCareProfessionals (HCPs)/stakeholders for Zürich region for the Core Assets General Medicines (GenMed) Portfolio. This new position is a transformation of the classic Pharma Sales Representative role: you will be empowered with a higher degree of freedom to develop and decide on priorities to best drive the business but also will be accountable for this region’s performance, by leading strategic projects for GenMed in this region, this together with 3 other CSMs.

You will work on a daily basis on a self-managed basis together with the other CSMs. You will have to define the way you work as a team, interact with the customers and how you develop initiatives and projects for the region. You will get the full support from the Growth Performance Team (GPT) to bring you fact based recommendations to develop new impactful regional projects; you will play in return the same role, with customer insights bringing up all regional ideas to this GPT team and Customer Engagement (CE) Manager.

Main responsibilities:

  • Be a real entrepreneur in the region, be autonomous and make usage of the available A&P budget. Invest it as your own money; have the courage to take difficult decisions, stand up for the projects that in your eyes bring high value even though your colleagues do not see it, have the capacity to accept failure and most importantly learn from it

  • Manage projects from A to Z: Imagine, develop, lead and follow-up on your regional projects and support colleagues in the region with their projects. Think of the word project as the solution on the unmet needs you identified for a specific high potential customer or a group of important customers.

  • Define and own the regional plan: achieving sales targets and profitability for the region by ensuring the optimal implementation of your plan.

  • Have a perfect understanding and knowledge of the different customer groups. Maintain and develop a quality relationship with key opinion leaders and decision makers in the region. Based on customer group priorities explore and create market opportunities (Play To Win) in healthcare networks/hospitals/private practices

  • Work closely with the CE/Marketing to implement national initiatives/campaign

About you

Education and professional Experience

  • Scientific or paramedical education

  • SHQA Diploma

  • Proven medical sales experience or sales experience in a B2B field

Technical skills

  • Ability to deal with digital tools and MS Office tools

Soft skills

  • Proven experience in project management.

  • Influencing and Persuading skills

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and business sense

  • Decision Maker

  • Team player and Action initiator

  • Stress resistant

  • Affinity for marketing/strategy development and project management

Languages

  • Fluent German/good knowledge in French would be of advantage/ good knowledge in English
