In this role you will be working in the electronics team, collaborating closely with colleagues in the systems and embedded software team to develop overall solutions. The team's goal is to deliver high quality electronics and master all building blocks that make up the electronics systems of drones and ground stations now and in the future.

Responsibilities
  • Design high quality electronics (concept, component choices, schematics capture and PCB layout) using Altium Designer 365 to improve on and expand the Wingtra product line-up
  • Bringup, troubleshoot and rework newly designed prototypes and verify designs to ensure functionality and high reliability
  • Contribute to electronics architecture definition and technology decisions
  • Coordinate closely with mechanical design and software teams to align on requirements and optimise for product performance
  • Contribute to development of company internal best practices in electronics development


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 6+ years experience in developing complex electronic systems
  • Strong understanding of analogue and digital circuit design concepts
  • Strong PCB layout skills to design high density, high speed, rigid and flex PCBs
  • Practical know-how in an electronics design tool (preferably Altium Designer)
  • Practical knowhow in bring-up, troubleshooting and validation of PCBAs
  • Teamplayer with excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English
  • Excellent general cognitive ability and problem solving skills
  • Honest, humble, and self-motivated


Plus
  • Background in RF design and related regulatory environments
  • Experience with robotics or drones specifically
