Tasks and job requirements
- Assist the development team in all stages of the design process, from concept development to final production
- Undertake research for new design projects, creating sketches to illustrate the design concept and constructions
- Assist with sourcing materials and other work-related work processes, and maintain an up-to-date list of suppliers and accurate records of all design development activities, including material samples, swatches, and cost factors
- Prepare presentations and reports as needed for internal and external meetings and events
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks associated with the project regarding the design work
- Anticipate needs and take initiative to solve problems as they arise
Your profile
- 10+ years of experience in educational game design
- 10+ years of experience software development C#
- 3+ years of experience UI/UX design
- Shipped at least 3 educational games for high school, college students or adults
- Expert in several game engines, Unity, Unreal, Godot
- Proficient in any 3D computer graphics software such as Maya, Blender, Max, ext.
- Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator software
- Experienced in SCRUM methodology
- Ability to multitask, address issues quickly and efficiently, and work independently
- Good communication and organizational skills
- English and/or German
