People & Talent Intern

Working closely with the people team to support the people team on people processes, initiatives and projects. 

Your Role

You will become an integral part of our people team, serving as a versatile People & Talent Intern. This role offers hands-on learning opportunities in recruiting, learning & development, administration, team building and other HR-related areas. Your proactive, can-do attitude and enthusiasm for people topics will drive your success in this role.

What you will do:

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including engaging with candidates, coordinating interviews scheduling and onboarding
  • Collaborate with the people team on our HR communications, write internal announcements and build our People Hub
  • You will be our point of contact to our team members when they have questions, you will respond to queries and respond to our people's email inbox.
  • Make sure our people operations is running smoothly together with the whole team
  • Plan our team events, our moments to celebrate and be our culture champion
  • Compile and generate reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Support other ad hoc people requests

Your experience

  • You are studying at university level 
  • You thrive in structured environments with a proactive mindset
  • Strong attention to details, ensuring accuracy in all tasks
  • Exhibit strong writing and communication skills
  • You can work independently but also know how to be a team player
  • Demonstrate genuine care for our team and their well-being

Motivational Fit (phone screen) - Anna Klopfer, Founder's Intern | 30 min

  • During this call we want to learn more about you and previous experiences, but also give you the opportunity to ask questions about grape.

Role Fit Interview - Fabian Mächler, CEO and Co-Founder | 60 min

  • During this call we will go more in depth in understanding your background and skills.

Skills Assessment - Fabian Mächler, CEO and Co-Founder | 120min

  • You will get the chance to work on our skills assessment during a time slot of your choice, to showcase your technical competence.
  • You will be able to present your assessment and explain your methods & processes more in depth.

Cultural Connect @grape HQ - Fabian Mächler, CEO and Co-Founder | 60 min

  • Meet our founders and some of the other team members at our office in Zurich.

Reference calls

  • By this point we will have gotten a very good idea of your background, skills and team fit. Now it’s on us to do the last check with the references you provided.
