Looking for an English mother tongue Montessori Teaching Assistant, elementary class (La Rippe, VD)

About us:

We are a bilingual Montessori school with children between 3 and 12 years old. We give individual attention to every child in order to guide them in being at peace with themselves, knowing their self-worth, self-confident and resilient, compassionate, respectful and in harmony with others and the environment, and always curious and eager to learn and grow. For that, we believe great teachers who love teaching, teach children to love learning.

Our school currently has 4 classes with about 75 kids. It is situated on the foothills of the Jura mountains in La Rippe, close to Nyon and Divonne in a uniquely idyllic setting.

Our school is opening an additional lower elementary class for which we are looking to hire an English mother tongue Montessori assistant, on a full-time or part-time basis starting August 2023 to support the French speaking Head teacher.

About You:

You are an English mother tongue with excellent oral and written communication skills. You share our above values around education. You are open minded and curious, and a pleasure to work with. You are equally at ease with the children as you are with adults (other team members, parents, etc.). You already have a Montessori AMI 6-12 assistant degree (or are willing to get one).
