The Opportunity:

As a Key Account Manager, Oncology, for your designated territory and specialist brands, you play a crucial role in driving success. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft local account plans, fostering advocacy, optimal access, and increased uptake of our specialized products. In this Key Account Manager role, you will engage with healthcare stakeholders, including payers and healthcare professionals, to ensure our specialty brands are readily available. Your mission is to eliminate local barriers, accelerate access, and expand prescribing opportunities in key accounts.

You will be part of an inclusive team that works to develop innovative therapies for patients.

Key Activities for this role:

  • Maintain relationships, and detail to groups of doctors and HC professionals.
  • Responsible for developments of the whole assigned area - detailing products in all therapeutic areas of the company; allocating their time resources in alignment with the goals and strategy of the affiliate; setting together with the Sales manager of integrated plans on account level in collaboration with medical function where appropriate and in accordance with Astellas policies
  • Develop a territory plan, perform market analysis at territory level, implement and monitor plan.
  • Ensure product safety information is reported to pharmacovigilance department (DSO) no later than 24 hours from the receipt date.
  • Work closely with the Brand Manager/Therapy Area Manager, responsible for company’s strategy on affiliate level

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Pharma sector experience in Key account management.
  • Able to deliver effective local forecasts and demonstrate business ownership.
  • Willing/able to drive, valid driving license.
  • Appreciation of relevant Compliance and Regulatory legislation, application, and forthcoming changes
  • Experienced in dealing with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

  • Ideally, life sciences-related degree.
  • Market access experience is beneficial.

Educations/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life science or equivalent.
  • Fluent in local language and in English

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent, full-time position.
  • This position is field based in the Czech Republic and as reasonably required by the business travel is expected in line with your role.
  • Some limited, occasional travel in the Czech Republic (including overnight stays).
