Audit Manager| Audit | 100 % | Geneva or Lausanne
Your role:
As an Audit Manager, you will manage a portfolio of national and international clients and lead audit engagements. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality audits, managing client relationships, and leading audit teams, while contributing to the continued development of our Audit practice.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the audit of annual and consolidated financial statements of national and international clients in accordance with Swiss CO, Swiss GAAP FER and IFRS
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise audit engagements (risk assessment, budgeting, timelines, quality reviews)
- Lead special audits such as capital increases, company foundations, and donor audits
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on accounting, and reporting matters, providing pragmatic solutions
- Manage day-to-day client relationships and ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients throughout the year
- Supervise, coach, and develop audit team members across complex mandates
- Contribute actively to the development and growth of the Audit team at RSM Switzerland
- Apply and promote RSM’s methodology, tools, culture, and values, acting as a role model
Your profile:
- Swiss Licensed Audit Expert
- 6-10 years of experience in external audit, including 1-2 years in a managerial role, with exposure to both local and international clients
- Strong knowledge of Swiss CO, IFRS and/or Swiss GAAP FER
- Proven ability to independently analyse, document, and challenge complex and high-risk accounting matters
- Demonstrated experience managing international client portfolios and leading audit teams across multiple and complex engagements
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, coach, and motivate audit teams
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in French, with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally in English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and commonly used business applications; experience with data analytics tools is a plus
- Proactive, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership and responsibility in a fast-paced audit environment
