Your role and responsibilities
Student Support & Clinical Practice
- Provide caring and professional counselling in individual sessions to help students make reflective decisions affecting their personal and academic growth.
- Perform diagnostic assessments and recommend specific learning strategies or referrals to specialists when necessary.
- Participate in mental health prevention programs across the Secondary School.
Collaboration & Inclusion
- Work in collaboration with teaching staff, parents, and families to provide advice and support to students.
- Work closely with all Secondary staff to provide support and expert advice for inclusion.
- Liaise with outside specialists for the follow-up of specific student situations.
Who we are looking for
You will thrive in this role if you possess
- A Master's degree in Clinical Child and Adolescence Psychology - with a valid license to practice.
- At least three years' experience working with children in a multicultural and preferably educational environment.
- Proven experience in conducting comprehensive psycho-educational assessments and knowledge of local agencies/resources related to mental health.
- Proficiency in English or French with an excellent working knowledge (C1 level) of the other language.
