About Our Client
For our client, a leading global biopharmaceutical company in the greater Lucerne area, we are seeking a dedicated professional to join their innovative manufacturing operations team. This renowned organization specializes in developing cutting-edge biotechnological therapies and operates state-of-the-art GMP manufacturing facilities that supply clinical trials worldwide.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Execute and troubleshoot upstream bioprocessing operations including bioreactor management and continuous manufacturing processes under strict GMP standards
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and support the integration of innovative manufacturing technologies through engineering runs and testing protocols
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and electronic master batch records while conducting technical documentation reviews
- Manage materials and inventory using enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP for optimal workflow coordination
- Participate in critical sampling activities and on-call responsibilities as required by production schedules, including occasional weekend duties
- Ensure full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Environmental Health & Safety protocols within your operational scope
Your Profile
- Educational foundation in a relevant scientific or technical discipline with strong analytical capabilities
- 2 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environments
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to approach challenges from new perspectives and commitment to continuous learning and development
- Resilience under pressure in complex GMP environments with the flexibility to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills in both German (C1 level) and English (B2+ level) for effective cross-functional collaboration
- Local residence within 30 minutes commuting distance from Schachen (LU) or willingness to relocate to the area
- Valid driver's license (Category B) and access to personal vehicle for on-call duties and site requirements
