Your role and responsibilities

• Teach Finnish as a foreign language at the IB level (Language B).
• Regularly assess student progress and provide detailed reports to parents.
• Work closely with the WLP Coordinator Secondary School and departmental colleagues to support effective learning.
• Manage teaching resources efficiently to ensure a high-quality educational environment.

Who we are looking for

You will thrive in this role if you possess:

• Native proficiency in Finnish.
• Strong experience in teaching Finnish as both a foreign and native language.
• Experience teaching the IB or a strong willingness to familiarize yourself with the curriculum.
• The ability to work effectively in French and/or English.
• Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.

Your personal attributes:

• A dynamic approach to teaching with the ability to inspire students through creative styles.
• Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with colleagues and parents.
• Previous experience in an international school environment is considered a distinct advantage.
