To reinforce the Synechron Switzerland team, we are looking for a Test Engineer experienced in Quality Control and Assurance. Our mission is for one of our clients, a Private Bank in Geneva.
Your responsibilities:
- Shaping and leading quality assurance plans for key products.
- Joining test/specification and feature modelling workshops.
- Drafting test plans for releases, projects, and products.
- Carrying out test plans, including setup, oversight, and reporting.
- Pre-checking bugs to give first-level assessments.
- Tracking bug backlogs and driving timely fixes.
- Pushing for and applying test automation where it adds value.
- Overseeing security audits & penetration testing campaigns.
- Reviewing and streamlining the test process for greater efficiency.
- Assessing Front Tech?s quality maturity using an in-house framework.
Qualifications
Your profile and skills:
- You have proven experience in testing, test automation, test analysis & test management.
- You can show familiarity with Agile setups (Scrum) and BDD methodology.
- You possess a background in software development or software automation.
- You can to develop tools through scripting or small development projects.
- You are able to critically leverage LLM capabilities in daily work.
- You are proficient in Jira, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook - Jira X-Ray know-how is a plus.
- You have basic experience with Bamboo, SonarQube, Git, and/or Kibana.
- You are familiar with financial and/or banking fields.
- You consider yourself well-organized and structured.
- You have experience in running and leading effective meetings and workshops.
- You are a team player, who has good communication skills, both with IT and non-IT colleagues, clients, and management.
- You can easily work in English and French;
- You are a Swiss resident.
