Position Summary
As Performance Acceleration Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on high- impact projects in our factories worldwide. You will collaborate with team members from various departments, ranging from the front line to senior leaders (including Factory members, R&D experts, and Corporate teams) to add significant value to the people and business. Your focus will be on implementing operational optimization projects and digital solutions efficiently with factory teams, whilst developing skills in operations to drive significant outcomes and sustainability of results globally.
As part of the Corporate operations function, you will drive projects, being based in our factories worldwide for project periods of 5-6 months at a time. You will have the incredible opportunity to learn about diverse cultures and make a positive impact in our operations communities. Our vision is to drive change in factories and mindsets. This position offers a unique and rewarding 4-year program, characterized by a fast-paced environment, with the aim of progressing into future leaders in Factory, Quality, or Production Management.
During the 4-year program, the successful candidate will be based abroad approximately 90% of the time, returning to Nestlé HQ in Vevey twice per year for a few weeks. As such, a high level of mobility and adaptability is essential.

A day in the life of a Performance Acceleration Engineer:
- Drive continuous improvement in factories globally.
- Collaborate with stakeholders worldwide on comprehensive projects.
- Take on a co-leadership role and provide coaching for initiatives aimed at optimizing manufacturing costs and identifying opportunities within the global factory environment.
- Manage cross-functional improvement projects leveraging Nestle's scale for benchmarking and knowledge sharing. Foster global collaboration with R&D centers to expedite project implementation and drive innovation in factories.
- Educate leaders on corporate manufacturing guidelines to support the development of competencies across different markets.
What will make you successful
- A Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience working in a factory environment, including roles in production, quality, engineering, or similar areas. Previous experience in line management is a plus.
- Passion and demonstrated ability to effectively lead projects, coach and develop diverse and multicultural teams.
- Proficiency in English. Fluency in another one or two languages is preferred.
- Enthusiasm for international travel and drive to build an international career in the manufacturing industry.
- Positive mindset with a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to collaborate as part of a team.
