Our client is a globally active, innovation-driven pharmaceutical company with a state-of-the-art research and development centre in Schachen, Switzerland. With a strong focus on biotechnological production at clinical scale spanning small molecules, biologics, and vaccines the site is a key hub for the development and release of new active substances for clinical trials worldwide.

Your Responsibilities as Senior Specialist Microbiology (m/f/d)

• Conducting microbiological laboratory work in support of ongoing clinical and production projects
• Managing microbiological studies and projects, including environmental monitoring and in-process testing of Drug Substances
• Reviewing raw data both paper-based and within electronic data management systems including data trending and analysis
• Drafting and maintaining SOPs, as well as qualification and validation protocols and reports
• Initiating, tracking, and closing deviation records and change control documentation
• Supporting the assessment and introduction of rapid microbiological methods (RMM), new technologies, and automation solutions

Your Profile

• Academic background in microbiology or a related discipline: Master's degree with 1+ year of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience, or a Bachelor's degree / completed apprenticeship as lab technician (EFZ Biology) with 3+ years of relevant experience
• Solid knowledge of GMP regulations and their practical application in a regulated laboratory environment
• Proven ability to deliver results under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, pipeline-driven setting
• Strong team player with experience in cross-functional collaboration
• Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken)
