Junior Supply Buyer

For one of our clients specialized in Life Science, we are looking for a Junior Supply Buyer (100%) based in the canton of Neuchatel. 

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage the full purchase order lifecycle, including timely and compliant processing. Proactively identify and resolve order discrepancies (delivery delays, pricing issues, stockouts) to guarantee on-time and complete deliveries. Utilize reports to foresee and address potential delivery/production delays. Ensure proper follow-up on quality concerns.

• Maintain clear and timely communication regarding order processing, procedures, and system updates. Address and escalate critical order issues to support manufacturing targets. Serve as a direct point of contact for suppliers.

• Create and update data accurately to maintain business continuity according to established guidelines.

• Participate in projects of limited scope and complexity.

• Provide coverage for team members and offer support to the wider group.

Your Profile:

• Experience or background in Life Science, chemistry or biology mandatory ! 
• Native-level proficiency in either French or German, with strong knowledge of the other language and fluency in English.
• Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, and multitasking abilities, coupled with strong organizational skills.
• Good understanding of biotechnological, pharmaceutical, or diagnostic products.
• Knowledge of quality standards (GMP, ISO 13485, ISO 9001).
• Understanding of production and supply constraints related to regulated environments.
