Electric Bus Mechanic - Permanent contract Geneva

We are currently looking for an experienced Electric Bus Mechanic to join a well-established transportation company based in Geneva on a permanent contract.

This position is ideal for professionals with proven hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of electric vehicles, particularly electric buses or electric cars, who are looking to join a stable and forward-looking environment focused on sustainable mobility.

Description

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electric buses
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults
• Carry out repairs on high-voltage systems, batteries, drivetrains, braking systems, and onboard equipment
• Ensure vehicles comply with safety and operational standards
• Use diagnostic tools and maintenance software
• Collaborate closely with the technical and operations teams to ensure fleet availability
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop

Profile

• Proven experience as a mechanic/technician on electric vehicles is mandatory (electric buses or electric cars)
• Good understanding of electrical and electronic vehicle systems
• Valid Category D driving licence (bus licence) is mandatory
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, hands-on, and safety-oriented mindset
