Your mission is to help us develop new multiplatform solutions for our professional Audio and Network products range to give our customers the highest quality tools available.

Your tasks

  • You code with the development team on network audio tools, applications and devices
  • You follow standard committees in network audio
  • You monitor the technologies in the areas of network and cloud based development

Your personality

  • You are passionate about high-quality software and high-quality sound
  • You are excited with technical challenges and have a strong problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex problems into smaller chunks easier to solve
  • You have cooperative mindset, playing your part to foster a positive team spirit
  • You have and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • You are self-organized and able to work independently, but also appreciate to work and contribute in teams

Your qualifications

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer science or Media Technology and
  • 3 years of experience with
    - DriverKit
    - KEXT
    - DEXT
    - CoreAudio plugin
    - ASIO
    - Windows kernel
    - C/C, Objective-C, Swift
    - Qt as a plus
    - Linux/ALSA as a plus
    - Android as a plus
  • You already have experience in macOS and Windows environment
  • You are keen on developing multiplatform solutions
  • You got a good knowledge in real-time programming as well as in computer networking
  • You proactively identify problems, solve them and inform/support the developer team
  • You possess excellent written and verbal skills in English and/or French
  • You have a professional experience with AoIP and various network protocols (RAVENNA, AES67) as a plus
  • You are familiar with multi-threading paradigm as a plus
  • Your software experience in relation to Digital Audio Workstations as well as experiences with Merging’s Audio Interfaces and ANEMAN software are an advantage

About the job

This position will report to the Head of Core Technologies and will directly integrate our current development team based in Puidoux, Switzerland. A remote position in Switzerland or the French border can be envisaged.
