Teamwork among coworkers. Thankfully, we support each other.

The management system focuses exclusively on management positions. Employment conditions are very precarious for visitor reception staff, with minimal monthly salaries and unreasonable demands for responsibility. There is a shortage of staff to manage the various facilities that serve as the spa’s calling card. There are no opportunities for career advancement through internal or external training.

I had a very positive experience at the company. The work atmosphere is pleasant, the teams are friendly, and there’s a real sense of camaraderie. Communication is good, and the work environment is professional and motivating. The application process also went very smoothly: the interactions were clear, professional, and warm.

As for areas for improvement, I don't have any specific comments to make. My experience has been very positive, and I'm happy to recommend this company.

I’m having a great experience. At first, it took me a little while to adjust, since it was my first time working at a company with spas, a hotel, and several different departments. But thanks to the support and guidance from my manager, I quickly found my footing and managed to adapt well. A big thank you to the HR department. I’m particularly happy to have a manager who is competent, attentive, and, above all, compassionate. Her approach to work is truly appreciated: she takes the time to listen, offers good advice, and remains open to her team’s ideas and suggestions. This makes me feel heard and valued in my work. I also really appreciate being able to work with a director who is approachable and caring. It’s nice to work in an environment where you feel supported, heard, and valued.

As in any company, there is always room for improvement, particularly when it comes to organization and implementing new ideas.

I’ve been working for several years as one of the managers at Les Bains de Saillon. This experience has been very rewarding, even though the beginning wasn’t always easy. We had to implement many procedures and change some of the team’s work habits. These changes require time, communication, and sometimes perseverance. However, I was fortunate to have the support of a management team and an HR department that were always available to offer advice and guidance on managing the team and implementing the various changes. Their support was crucial, especially during the most challenging times. The company also places great importance on training. Training and cross-training programs are offered to both managers and employees, led by internal trainers or specialized external firms. I particularly appreciate the management style of the leadership team. Objectives are clearly defined, expected results are known, and regular follow-up is ensured. At the same time, managers have a certain degree of autonomy in choosing the methods to use to achieve these objectives. This approach fosters accountability, commitment, and trust. Expectations are high, but they are clearly communicated, and everyone knows what is expected of them. Beyond professional matters, special attention is also paid to team cohesion. The annual staff party is also a wonderful opportunity to thank all employees for their dedication.

Communication between departments can be improved.

Free access to facilities, as well as various discounts on lodging, are significant benefits. The positive atmosphere and mutual support within the sectors help offset the generally gloomy mood that has prevailed since late 2025.

Unfortunately, the human aspect seems to take a back seat in personnel management. Organization and communication deserve more attention, along with genuine support for employees. Salaries are close to—if not at the very bottom of—the pay scale in certain sectors, and no real opportunities for training or professional development appear to be offered. In an industry where skills, commitment, and interpersonal relationships are essential, it would be appreciated if these aspects were given greater consideration.

I was very happy to work at Les Bains de Saillon this summer. It was my first experience as a student, and I’m truly grateful to have been able to start my professional career in such a pleasant environment. The working conditions for students are excellent, with many benefits. I’d also like to give a special thanks to Stéphanie Santos, the human resources manager, for always being available and willing to listen. Since so many things were new to me, she always took the time to answer my questions with great patience and in detail. The work atmosphere is very friendly and the team is welcoming, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. A big thank you to Les Bains de Saillon for this wonderful experience! I’ll be happy to return next summer.

Les Bains de Saillon has many strengths, including a skilled and dedicated staff. When the various departments work together toward a common goal, we’re able to achieve outstanding results. I would particularly like to highlight the remarkable work of the Human Resources department. I have always found them to be highly accessible, truly attentive, and, above all, very compassionate. In good times as well as during more difficult periods, being able to count on an HR department that is present, attentive to people, and capable of listening without judgment is extremely important. This human touch is, in my opinion, a true strength of the company and deserves to be recognized and preserved.

I think communication and coordination between the various departments could still be improved. In a company with many employees and several business sectors, it’s important for information to flow quickly and clearly. It would also be helpful to improve foresight and organization, particularly during peak periods, in order to reduce the pressure on teams. Finally, I think we need to continue to better recognize employees who go the extra mile, encourage dialogue between teams and management, and work together to find solutions when difficulties arise, rather than letting problems fester.
