We are looking for for a Client, an IT Support Technician for the level 1 of Support.

Our client is a trading company located in Lausanne.

Description

  • Provide first-level contact and convey resolutions to user issues.
  • Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support, Track, route, and redirect problems to correct resources. Ensure proper recording, documentation, and closure (ServiceNow)
  • Develop and document new solutions and training material for occurring issues.
  • Configure PC's and Laptops based on the standards.
  • Configure the user profiles (customization of user profile as per standard and user's requirement, basic on-boarding training)
  • Mobile devices configuration management
  • Research questions and resolve each interaction with customer satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate reporting to management
  • Contribute to automated PC' s updates and deployments (scripting, …)
  • IT logistics (cabling, PC moves, stock/inventory management)

  • PC based environments MS Windows 10/11, Office 2016, Office/MS365,
  • Digital World Technology (Mobile devices - iPhones etc),cloud solutions, Internet browser administration
  • Client-side networking (VPN, Wifi, client network config)
  • Enterprise Client deployment systems (MDT, ManageEngine Endpoint Central an asset)
  • Client-side networking (TCPIP, DNS etc)
  • Remote support techniques
  • Knowledge of Server & networking environments - an asset
  • Comprehension of the Life Cycle & Support management (ITIL etc)
  • Meeting room technology
  • Monitoring systems

Profile

  • Holder of a Swiss CFC (IT, Electronic) or higher education, certifications an asset
  • 2-3 years of professional experience is an asset.
  • Fluent in French and good technical communication skills in English,
  • Excellent customer service attitude and problem solving abilities and experience
  • Willingness to constantly maintain qualifications by analyzing technical issues
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
  • Comfortable to work in a multicultural environment
